Maggie Wells finds her greatest freedom on the dance floor, where her archivist approach to music reflects her deep vinyl collection: hyper-curated, eclectic, and always unmistakably her own. Beginning her journey in Paris and now a fixture in Nashville’s nightlife, she holds residencies at The Virgin Hotel, Rosemary and Beauty Queen, Close Company, Mimo, and Lowbar, and is a member of the vinyl DJ collective Carousel. She’s performed at Bonnaroo’s Where in the Woods and opened for acts like Molchat Doma, Nuevo Testamento, Okey Dokey, The Weird Sisters, and New Translations. Beyond the booth, she produces award-winning immersive-art dance parties under the name Bewitched.
